As announced last week, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is now officially available for download on Microsoft's Xbox Live service. The game will cost you 1200 points; which is equal to $15 U.S.D.

Edge Magazine announced today that GTA: China Wars will feature a drug dealing mini-game, allowing players to sell a total of 6 different types of narcotics around the city. The news was confirmed by Rockstar Games' Creative VP Dan Houser.
In a recent interview, Creative Vice President of Rockstar Games Dan Houser let the world know his true feelings about developing games for the Wii. To summarize: don't expect to be driving Grand Theft Auto vehicles with your Wii controller anytime soon.

New details have emerged today surround the upcoming release of GTA: Chinatown Wars. In an announcement by Ben Feder, CEO of Take-Two Interactive, he confirmed that the title would be released by the first quarter of 2009, placing the release date sometime between now and Jan 31st 2009. While this is far from the release date confirmation many were hoping for, it certainly is reassuring that DS players will soon have Grand Theft Auto.
A testimony to GTA IV's undisputed success, Take-Two Interactive announced today that the game has officially sold over 10 million copies world wide. To help put this achievement into perspective, 2007's top seller, Halo 3, sold a mere 4.8 million copies in comparison. It has been confirmed by Microsoft in the Leipzig Games Convention, which is happening right now, that the first of two Xbox LIVE downloadable episodes for Grand Theft Auto IV will be coming and is scheduled for release this Autumn, which ranges from a few weeks to a few months later.
“In autumn there will be news from Liberty City; the first episodes of GTA IV will be available for download exclusively on Xbox LIVE, underlining Xbox 360’s leadership role in the field of digital entertainment.”
IGN has just released info and the first batch of screenshots for GTA IV PC, which can be read here. Some of the new info posted: - There will be support for both gamepad and keyboard/mouse play. - More multiplayer features such as search filters to find your ideal match. - Sharper graphics; the maximum supported screen resolution is 2560x1600. - 30 seconds replays will return for both single and multiplayers. - The game will feature a montage video editor where you can add different filters and transitions. From there you will be able to upload it to the Rockstar Games Social Club so others can view it.
As many of you have noticed that GTA4HQ has been pretty dead lately, we have only posted a few news articles from time to time. Many other GTA sites are also struggling to find news. We will be gearing the site up for the PC release on November 18th. This means that we will be getting our database ready for the flood of files that will ensue after people figure out how to mod the game.

With a new update to the Grand Theft Auto Website featuring the Windows Live logo, comes new speculation that the PC release could offer cross platform online play with Xbox 360 users. It also suggests that Xbox 360 users will be able to get new exclusive downloadable content along side PC users.
