First looks at PC Version

A friend has sent these images over to me, complaining about the shadows. Not looking to good, I'm sure they will release patches for this for weeks to come.

3.0GHz Core 2 Duo
Force3D Radeon HD 4870 512MB graphics card
4 gig ram
Vista Ultimate 32 bit with Service Pack 1

As you can see, the shadows are junk! If this turns out to be a global issue, I'm sure that a patch is soon to follow.

I too have this issue along with a few graphical glitches associated with this atrocious digital display of graphical debauchery. I have the details set to "Very High" and have experiemented with the other graphics settings (those changeable in the game options, at least) but the issue remains. I am waiting anxiously for other voices to confirm either a global issue or isolated cases. I bought the game on Dec. 2nd and while I was extremely bothered by this issue, I was simply too busy laughing histerically as I cleared entire sidewalks of pedestrians with an SUV. But these shadows from hell will soon get old...

That's the best description I've heard yet! Well I'm sure that they will come out with a patch very soon.
