Rumor: There will not only be a standard day-night cycle, but also snow in GTAIV thanks to changing seasons in the game.
Truth: Rockstar has denied this, saying there will be no seasonal changes in the game but there will be changing weather.Rumor: There is a third, secret piece of episodic content under development by Rockstar that has not been sold yet.
Truth: Rockstar says this was a misunderstanding concerning the episode release dates after GTAIV had been delayed.Rumor: Rockstar is going to turn its back on parent company Take-Two and become independent for the first time.
Truth: This no doubt stems from Take-Two's financial troubles, but with GTAIV coming these could be blown away.Rumor: GTAIV will be released on 25 April 2008 in the UK, with slightly earlier release in the US.
Truth: The official worldwide release date is in fact 29 April, which is a Tuesday if you're keeping track.Rumor: It was the development of the PS3 version of GTAIV that caused the game to be delayed by six months.
Truth: Rockstar's Jeronimo Barrera has said that "the PS3 was definately a contributing factor" to the delay of GTAIV.
